　　Joey Lauren Adams以确认与Billy Ray Cyrus一同加盟CMT电视台新的单镜头喜剧《Still The King》。该剧目前正在拍摄，并预计于2016年播出。

　　《Still The King》聚焦在由Cyrus扮演的角色Vernon Brown（又名"Burnin' Vernon"）上。他曾在20年前凭借一首极为成功的单曲在乡村界混出了名声，然而在此之后他却再也没有获得类似的成功，还卷上了一身的丑闻。不久他就被踢出了乡村音乐界。而现在，他却又因在拉斯维加斯的一场猫王模仿秀而再度出名。在喝醉的情况下私闯教堂之后，他被强制要求回到乡村音乐的中心Nashville进行公益表演。正是在这个城市，他偶然间发现了自己素不相识的15岁的女儿。

　　Adams将会扮演Debbie Lynn Cook，一个充满活力且略暴躁的未婚母亲。她目前正与自己年轻的无业男友Ronnie和青年女儿Charlotte——她和Vernon在15年前的一场一夜情的产物——住在一起。当Vernon出人意料地回归之后，她原本平静的生活彻底变成了一团糟。
